I'm beginning to think.....

... that deerhounds are bad for my health!
If I'm not getting knocked over, I'm being lacerated by Fionne's recently trimmed claws, whilst she's trying to get to a labradoodle that came bounding over. Trying to remain calm and smiling through gritted teeth at the owner when she came over to get her dog, wasn't easy.

The house martin nest has fallen off the wall and it was most upsetting to see and hear the pair of birds trying to figure out what had happened. I've bought a ready made one, just hope they like it enough to use it.

I spent the afternoon in the garden tackling some of the pruning. There's lots of dead wood to cut out, so a tip trip will soon be required.
