Pretty poppy

I had an impromptu meeting with my friend today. We only met for about an hour, and after a cup of tea, we went for a walk as it was a pleasant late afternoon. We walked through Alexandra Gardens and there were these beautiful poppies. Some of them were really large and I loved the colouring of them. Much more colourful than the rest of my grey day at work!
