Crazy Paths

The cycle lane at the bottom of Wellington Street, which was helpfully realigned by the Roads Department, when they extended the pavement out across the junction. Now, was it really necessary to create the reversed question mark shape for the cyclists at the bottom?

I've often thought of submitting this one for the Warrington Cycle Campaign Cycling Facility of the Month. But to be honest, it doesn't even begin to compare to the lunacy found in the rest of the UK. Check out the Coventry Velodrome (October 2006), or the all-time classic solution to cyclists using their mobile phones, featured on November 2004.
