Mullion Cove

Beautiful, but damaged by last winters storms, where the sea bombarded the harbour with huge rocks swept up from the sea bed and carried like toys by the waves.
You can see the effect on the top of the Quay on the right of the picture directly below the large headland that juts out into the sea .
Despite their size the massive stones of the wall have been dashed to pieces and washed down onto the beach.
The outer harbour was was also damaged and as it is the most vulnerable is being repaired first.
Hopefully next winter will not be so damaging!
