The Orient Express

Stack pole

Stack pole in Pembrokeshire is now mainly owned by the national trust, it was a privately owned estate up until 1963 when unable to keep up the upkeep the family had the stately home pulled down and sold the rubble off to an oil refinery.

The estate still has a few features like the Lily ponds and if your lucky enough you may even spot an otter.

We happened to be dog walking looking at the display of lilies when one of the dogs looked over the edge of the small bridge and about 2 foot away an otter popped up looked back at him then swam off.

An amazing sight to witness and I was so surprised I couldn't get the camera on it quick enough.

I was surprised, the dog was surprised and so was the otter!

Back blipped for yesterday as no internet, I'll catch up soon also
