Dahlias...

These are my dahlias. Steve was doing his green fingered thing and planting stuff so I thought I'd see if I could plant something and make it grow. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't quite tickled that the seeds actually grew into this! When I say seeds, they were more like dried up, scabby looking twigs and I wasn't convinced they'd turn into anything. But look at that... they grew!!

Go me! I'm choosing to ignore the fact that they're living in Steve's garden and I'm not in charge of killing them.

I'm going to be even more impressed if they flower!
