Choccy Soldiers

Garmisch is full of Americans as they have a base here. They bring their own culture with them...I met and had an interesting chat with a US Colonel with 38 years of service in the military, He said he had served in Da Nang, Viet Nam, Okinawa, Panama, Grenada both the recent Iraq conflicts and Afghanistan. He said Viet Nam was the worst combat. Here is one of his classic and rather disturbing statements:

"When I think of Al Qaeda it really burns my freaking buttocks...you know what we did? We killed 'em. I got myself four."
