Shore Sign

Very low tide on the Thames this morning at Bankside, London. I was out for a run and I decided to do a short distance along the shore - there's plenty of steps and you often see folks poking about.

Later in their morning my boat to work was a bit late due to low water - the mate explained to me that the big Putney to Canary Wharf boat had run aground at Wandsworth pier and the little one I was waiting for had been sailing by, trying to create waves to help it float clear! Then all the passengers disembarked, still not enough so they just had to wait for the water to rise. And all before 9 o'clock :)

Home now on the 6 pm Gin and Tonic Express from Kings Cross!
