Bad Cells

I just love these boys to bits

Today was a funny old day.

Firstly (hurrah!) it was my parents' 47th wedding anniversary. Well done them! They're at my sister's house in France for the week.

Second (boooo) it was the anniversary of the day Alex first fell ill. It would be another 7 weeks before the devastating news of quite why he was so poorly. The night of the 10th June he barely slept, crying in pain because his arms were hurting. Little did I know that it was the leukaemia cells crowding out his bone marrow. By the time he was diagnosed 90% (yes NINETY PERCENT) of his bone marrow was cancer.

And lastly, Milo went for an assessment into his speech. Today was a psychological and intelligence test. Brain is working fine :-)
