Soldier Beetle

We had a club outing to Hartshill Hayes Country Park tonight. It was a lovely evening, though a tricky location to get your mind into. In the end I continued with my macro trend, this time with my 70-200mm lens and a 20mm extension tube. I was quite pleased with some of the bugs I managed to capture. I rather liked the expression in the antennae of this little chap.
