I love our city which was founded by William Penn (he also founded the state). His statue, built by Alexander Milne Calder, stands on top of the City Hall. I always like looking at him whenever I'm in the city. When the statue was put in place, there was a gentleman's agreement that no building should be built taller than Penn's statue; this agreement became history in the 80's when Liberty Place became one of the first buildings that exceeded the statue height.
