Black Boy Fountain

Cycling home past the Black Boy Fountain as I do every night I became aware that it was actually working. It gets turned off in the winter, obviously, and I actually have a memory that it wasn't on at all last summer but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I pulled off the road home and stopped to take a wee picture of him.

Manufactured by the Neilson Foundry in Glasgow it was erected to commemorate those in Stirling who died of the Black Plague.
