Dupree, the former stud

I had the pleasure of meeting Dupree today while photographing a Great Blue Heron catching the last of the afternoon sun rays in pine tree near Dupree's home.

As a stud Dupree lived in a cat box with his harem of six female felines in Oregon. Once he started "shooting blanks" he was retired and adopted by a couple in our neighborhood where he has the run of a lovely home and even gets to go out occasionally under the watchful eyes of his adopted mom.

Definitely a handsome fellow.
