On Leura Station

Transport NSW have this idea that station canopies are required on the mountains stations.

They've employed heritage experts (as Blackheath is heritage listed) but somehow the heritage experts failed to notice that we have lovely old lights and plantings that need to be factored into the equation.

Leura got their footings a couple of weeks ago, despite the fact that apparently there wasn't a finalised design.

We're asking for proper consultation, not just for Blackheath, or Leura, but for all the five stations that have been singled out for this 'upgrade'. I'm interested to hear from anyone on their thoughts. Our mountains stations are beautiful, and often the first thing out tourists experience when they arrive. It's important for the mountains to maintain this unique feel.
