Dewdrop

I went for my walk about an hour earlier than usual, so almost had the place to myself.

Lovely soft muted light this morning compared with yesterday evening. Fantastic cirrocumulus clouds too.

As I approached the spot where I usually find damselfies I noticed the reeds had a few dewdrops still remaining, so I got completely absorbed in trying to get a decent shot of them!!

Here's the result. Handheld, so not as sharp as I would have liked. I didn't have my macro lens with me, but I always carry my more portable alternative - Raynox DCR 250 macro attachment. That did help to get a much closer image.
