Obliging Bee

Our friend J came over today, to go on the rib. Mr E thought that the engine wasn't going to start but after a little gentle persuasion, it soon kicked into life.
Early on, I got up onto the roof and fitted the new house martin nesting box.
The sad part in all this is that the pair have decided to rebuild in the same place and were sat on a partially constructed nest only 5 feet away from me, whilst I was up the ladder drilling. They weren't the least bit bothered by the noise of the hammer action drill.
This bee seemed to be a little bit drowsy but I took advantage of the situation and grabbed a few shots.
