The Pajama Game

…Shaftesbury Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue

The dancing alone is reason enough to go and see this musical. ‘It’s the swooping, swirling choreography by Stephen Mear that is the highlight of a production that combines fluent stylishness with an easy, frisky sense of fun,’ said Henry Hitchings in a four-star review in The Standard.

Charles Spencer in The Telegraph and Michael Billington in The Guardian both gave it five stars.

This superb production was directed by Richard Eyre. The only weak point was the schmaltzy love songs.
