Sevan Monastery

This beautiful little Monastery overlooks Sevan Lake, and if you can excuse the abundant clouds of Midges, it's lovely.

Reached by a small strip of land, it was in fact once and island, with the lake covering the strip and encircling the island with the monastery upon it's peak.

Isolation for worship almost to perfection.
