Another Day

Princess Alexandra

Not its natural colour, naturally, but thought it suited the almost mono look. It's a very prolific flowerer, is supposed to be a shrub rose but acts more like a climber, even though I cut it hard back in early Spring. The flowers are huge, the scent delightful and I love the vibrant colour. I might even blip it again, in colour.

Four helicopters flew over at lunchtime heading for the flypast down The Mall. Unfortunately I only heard them when it was too late.
