Sidlaw Relay Run

Dundee Road Runners is 30 years old and to celebrate someone had the idea of a relay run (not race) along the Sidlaw hills from north of Dundee to Perth and today was the day.
Rain yesterday and overnight led to a misty morning and the first leg, over the highest hills, was in thick mist, probably one of the reasons why it took a little longer than expected. I was on leg 2, doing tailrunner duties so I had some opportunities to take photos ( though the mistiness wasn't conducive to great ones).
This is the climb of the first, and hardest hill, after which it was more undulating and very wet underfoot in places with high humidity. I managed not to lose anyone but we were also a bit longer, too, and the 3rd leg set off before we arrived so as not too lose too much time. Mr Rat was going to do this leg as well (some did the 1st 2 and some 3rd and 4th) but changed to the final, 4th leg. I gather 3 & 4 have also taken longer so they are probably still running!
I do have some pics of the group at landmarks but decided to blip the run in action.
An early blip as we're going out for a meal this evening.
