Come On England!

The footie fans will be loud,
Please, boys, do us proud

Boys, in this instance, could mean either players or fans. One could do us proud on the football field, the other on the terraces. It seems every tournament is marred by hooliganism and I doubt the World Cup will be much different.

Stella & I used to be much bigger football fans...she still likes a kick-about in the garden with an old punctured ball but I struggle to pay attention to the movement of the ball going from one end of the pitch to the other without getting vertigo!

Somewhere I have an England flag and even an old footie shirt but time and organisation eluded me so this is what was to hand! Happy weekend :)
