Contention

The building of the new West Cork Arts Centre is causing considerable stir, comparisons to wheelie bins, nuclear power stations, waste incinerators abound...I shall stick my head above the parapet and say that I think it is just getting better and better. We are lucky that such an investment in the arts is being made and that some have had the courage to do something a little different. I suppose there were naysayers in Bilbao when Gehry proposed his titanium clad building.
