Curlew

There are Curlews nesting on our croft this year, and they fill the air with their warblry, watery call. I took the camera up to where I was working on a fence on the off-chance that I would get a shot, and this was the best I could get. It is about 50-60 m away and has obviously decided that I am close enough, so I was lucky to get this one reasonably sharp. I love the l-o-n-g beak. I will try to get closer during the summer.
