Paul Sinton-Hewitt, the founder of parkrun, was awarded a CBE in the Queen's birthday honours list announced today. One of the best things about parkrun is that it is run by volunteers, most of whom are regular runners. In fact, most people who run regularly take their turn to volunteer. Today we had a volunteer photographer at St Albans, Richard Underwood. This picture shows me in action, not quite fast enough to catch the young lad ahead of me!
