Gala Day

And it didn't rain! It was however, grey and very humid. Still that didn't dampen the spirits.

As usual the highlight if the day was the hill run. That is a run up the big hill behind the village, not to be confused with the small hill where we often wander to of an evening to visit the "pub on the hill"

So, I was looking for smiles today and smiles there were aplenty! Unfortunately not many of them made it to my camera!

This is the guy who came in second in the hill race. He seemed well pleased. It would have been nice to get the winner but sadly I was too slow in shifting myself from the beer tent! So number two it had to be :)
