Winners

First thing this morning Alfie presented me with my Father's day card and presents, a work of genius, I suspect the children had some help ;)

We had many reasons why we did not want Audi to win but they did and flipping heck did they deserve it. Toyota had the faster car but alas one of them sustained heavy damage in an accident and lost an hour and the other one had an electrical problem. We really wanted Mark Webber to win in a Porsche but alas they did not finish. It was a real ding dong battle though, brilliant racing by massively competitive teams.

The thing about Le Mans is that there are different classes so whilst there is one overall race, there are 5 classes all fighting hard, these were all even closer than the main race, with seconds between them.

Back at the campsite now processing pictures and about to have a very well earned beer then dinner and an early night as we have a 6am start tomorrow.
