Sunday Lunch

Back from the wedding and just getting ready to pick my gooseberries when I noticed this little beastie devouring the aphids. Is this the foreign intruder that is eating our native species of ladybirds or is it a good safe one? Can someone if possible let me know? It is very shiny and attractive however! I think it has 18 spots.
