Today's venue for Race for Life.

Grace and I were Enquiries volunteers, issuing numbers to the ladies who hadn't received them or had lost them. Registering new ones as well!

Then off to the finish line to (Wo)man the enquiries tent, lost children/property etc. though we didn't bank on having a four legged friend to contend with!!

Yep! We had a 'lost' dog!!! Found in the park near the beginning of the race, a volunteer used plastic barrier tape as a lead, walked around with him for a bit, then brought to the lost property!!! Despite lots of shout outs we couldn't raise any owners, fortunately with the power of google on my phone I tracked down a council official who had had frantic owners leaving details with them too! So all ended well and big black hairy hound repatriated with owners!

Grace was gutted, she wanted to bring him home! I think one black lab is enough for now!!

Great day, although early start. Lovely turn out for the race too!
