Brighter than the day!

Another grey day, chillier. Watched the game last night so up late this morning, did the ironing and then took C's parents out to lunch for Fathers Day. Went for a walk this afternoon and was pleased to see the swans and cygnets back on the pond (minus 1 cygnet) but decided on this colourful blip of an oedemera nobilis beetle (fab metalic green) on this poppy.
