Foxgloves galore

We had a good work party at the nature reserve today - overcast, but a pleasant temperature and only a few spots of rain. Cleared a lot of vegetation threatening to engulf the visitor trails and cut some of the worst patches of scrup in our orchid/gention meadows. Walking around one of the woodland rides afterwards I was amazed to see the proliferation of foxgloves that have opened during the last fortnight, while I've been away. It is absolutely stunning, but I decided to take a close-up, just as a bee was visiting.
