Bobble Heads....

Anyone that has followed me for a long time will know I support and follow the Dyfi Osprey Project in Wales...

We've followed Monty the male for 3 years now. He lost his first wife Nora.

Last year Monty paired with a female called Glesni and they had two girls...

This year both Monty and Glesni returned. After a very rocky start fighting off other osperys. They have both settled down and had two gorgeous 'Bobble Heads' chicks....

I wonder if we'll have a boy this year?

Anyway as the chicks bob their heads around while being fed. The Dyfi have nicked named them Bob1 and Bob2 until they are sexed later in the season!!

Here, Bob1 the oldest/biggest chick is cuddling/taking Bob2 under his/her wing....
