Come on Mum....

...we're waiting!

Fionne did a 7 mile walk today along the Ridgeway. I had to keep putting her back on the lead as she was running around too much and I knew that she wouldn't last the whole walk.

It wasn't sunny, which was perfect for walking and we only saw one group of boys throughout the whole journey. They looked as though they were doing Duke of Edinburgh Awards and I got a great shot of them from behind, which made me laugh, as all you could see were six pairs of little legs carrying enormous rucksacks.

According to my Fitbit, it was 19,000 steps plus the equivalent of climbing 90 flights of stairs! No wonder my legs were aching when we got back to the car.

This afternoon I managed to do another 4 hours of gardening and it still looks like a wilderness.

Caught up with my very dear friend A this evening. We have been friends for 35 years and only had 3 disagreements in all that time (the last one was 30 years ago!) Can't wait to see her in August.
