Joint birthdays

Two friends, father and daughter, both celebrated an '0' birthday this year so decided to have a joint party half way between the two dates. Rather than a big birthday cake they chose to have lots of cup cakes, and as the stand would not have held 90 candles a few token ones were inserted and lit for us all to sing the standard "Happy Birthday" ditty.
We hope they enjoyed their evening, but for us it was great to catch up with some mutual friends we had not seen for a while.
