Looking up Llanberis Pass...

... From the Llyn Padarn Lake Railway, as it crosses the small bit of land that separates Llyn Padarn from Llyn Peris.

We had a lovely afternoon, starting with a snack lunch at the café in the Slate Museum and then the leisurely train ride up the lakeside and back. It had been a dubious grey day until we went out, when the sun came out in all it's glory and the whole thing was idyllic!
