Poppy View

I was driving around running some errands when I saw some lovely poppies in a field, so I stopped to get a shot or two. Unfortunately I only had my compact with me and it was very windy, which meant I couldn't get the shot I had in mind but as I haven't had time to take anything else and the poppies will probably be gone by the time I can get back there with my main camera I will have to go with it for today. In actual fact I'm glad I got a shot of something before those dark clouds rolled in and gave everything a soaking.
