Oh Poor Thing...

... This is the sad result of those naughty parasitic wasps, who paralyse the legs of our lovely ladybirds to lay their eggs in the abdomens (abdomi??).
Only 25% of ladybirds survive this experience.
This is one of the 75%.
Obviously the wasp larva made a good escape.
(Boo hiss).

Thank you for comments about achieving a good nights sleep yesterday.
Last night, a middle of the night (not inconsiderable) yell emitted from Himself.

Me: 'What? What?... What is it?'

Himself: ''They were throwing grass at me'...

Ah... That perennial old 'grass-thowing manoeuvre' dream.
We've all been there (?).

Tonight I'm planning an early night with lavender oil on the pillow and avena sativa drops in a glass of water for sipping.

And a mallet.
(As self-defence against random grass-throwers).

In other news: the misheard quote of the day chez nous..
'Chick pea curry'.
'Six feet Terry??'.

Anyway.
Blipwise; a poor ladybird.
