Dupplin Cross

Spent this morning at a meeting in Dunning, so took a few minutes to dive into the church to get a blip of the famous Dupplin Cross.

As usual, a photographer's nightmare.

I was very lucky to see the Cross in its original situation in a field, before the decision was taken to move it inside to protect it from erosion. Needless to say, it looked far more imposing out in the open field than it does inside a building that wasn't designed to contain it.
