Mono Monday: Through the window

There is someone I deal with who, probably for reasons of their own history, is defensive against me and sometimes antagonistic because, I think, of what I represent: education. (I've had more than my fair share, and my job is to hand some on.) I am attacked for having beliefs that I do not have and when I try to say what I do believe in, I am not heard.

But one of the things I believe is that education is a long game so I am happy to bide my time. Today I think we might have taken one step closer to the light. I'm bracing myself for taking two steps back tomorrow before possibly inching forward again.
