Cornwall Day 3

A much more lazy start to the day than Monday. We decided to walk into Penzance rather than getting the bus. We calculated it to allow enough time, but we must've slowed down (probably to stare at the view), because we ended up having to speed-walk the last bit in order to not miss our train to St Ives.

The view from the train between St Erth and St Ives was amazing, we spent most of the journey with our noses against the window. Our first stop was Oxfam, we got bare many bargs. After spending about 20 minutes in St Ives we decided the entire place is just made up of fudge shops, bakeries and galleries.

We found the Barbara Hepworth Gardens (very nice, we had studio envy), then had lunch outside the Tate. We nearly got decapitated by a seagull who wanted our bagels. We sought refuge inside, where all the paintings made us want to paint, and I became increasingly obsessed with the architecture. Before leaving we had a coffee in the restaurant on the top floor - where I took this photo. Graham drew people sitting near us, and we nearly left without paying. Oops.

Had a quick climb on some rocks where the sea looked ridiculously blue, then back to the town to buy fudge, and eat ice creams (incredibly nervously, after the woman warned us about the seagulls).

We bought dinner back in Penzance and ate bread pudding while waiting for the bus.
