Cornwall Day 5

We stayed the night at Selena's house - Harry's was still full of boys and hers was nearly empty. For some reason I slept really badly, but we had a busy day planned anyway - The Eden Project!

We missed a train by seconds, so we went and got breakfast from Spar (classy eh?) then caught the next one. We just missed a bus from St Austell too, but it ended up working in our favour, since we realised a taxi between the 4 of us would work out way cheaper.

Our first stop at Eden was for lunch - pasties outside under the canopy (boiling but surrounded by birds and flowers and bunting, so pretty lovely). Next was the biomes - the Meditteranean one first, which actually felt cooler than it was outside. The tropical one, though, was nearly unbearably hot and sweaty. The viewing platform right at the top was closed because it was too hot (I was slightly relieved), so instead we stood by the waterfall and enjoyed the cool mist, and played with Harry's fancy camera.

Back out into the relative cool, we learned some knowledge in the education centre, then sat in the sun and ate ice cream (again).

In the evening, back in Fal, we got pizzas from Belly Timber and ate them on Gylly beach with some ciders at sunset.
