Ice wine tidings

A world away from London, I'm back in the great white north (aka Canada) after 2 ½ years! Can't believe how quickly time has gone by, but I'm happy to be spending a quick half-holiday here for the next three weeks.

First stop: my mum's, outside Montreal. I enjoyed the last of the day's warmth watching the organic ice wine vineyard below our house get a spraying (with something that, let's hope, is actually organic). Meanwhile, the mosquitos feasted on me.
