Well, I am crusin' along managing to both take photos, blip them AND do a little daily index card art for the ICAD challenge going on during June-July: An index card a day for 61 days. I like this particular index card a lot. It's a real fish print turned into a rubber stamp, on top of a collage of local water maps with some paint added in. You can read more about how and view step by step photos on my creativelenna blog.

The down side is, I cannot visit all of your journals as often or as regularly as I would like to when doing both of these creative things daily and learning how to operate my new camera (which I love). I try . . . please know I wish I could visit you more & still strive to! It is what it is. I am making the best of it. I love seeing what you are up to.

The very good news I got today when seeing both my regular doctor and the liver specialist is that my cholesterol is down, now within normal range. My weight is down some too (still working on this, but great improvement). For my fatty liver condition, my recent blood test reveals the tumor markers (AFP) are finally down to 1.9 - whoo hoo! An excellent number compared to 9.3 - which is not off the charts but higher than the Drs wanted to see. This means the elevated numbers were probably because of the liver biopsy back in late 2012. It caused a disturbance perhaps. All is good for now. I don't need to see the liver specialist till December and I got the blessing to continue talking milk thistle -they think it helps! I still need to continue exercising and slowly losing weight, that and lower cholesterol levels could help reverse the liver condition, but I am so happy at at peace hearing this news . . .

Yard by yard it's very hard. But inch by inch, it's a cinch.
