50 not out!

I've spent the day celebrating my birthday with EdiSteve - I've always wanted to go on a bus tour of Edinburgh, so here we are. We started with the official commentary, then switched to the much more fun Horrible Histories version.

Then we went to Peacock Alley at the Waldorf Astoria hotel for a very classy afternoon tea. The staff were wonderful, and even surprised me with a plate of chocolates on a glass plate decorated with 'Happy Birthday' in chocolate. Recommended!

It's a beautiful day, and it's not over yet. Friends and family have been so kind.
