The work on the Beauly - Blackhillock - Kintore overhead power line has now reached the pylon close to Braeside Cottage on the Inverurie - Polinar - Burnhervie road.

Scaffolding has been erected in the field next to the road (to the left in this view) to prevent the lines from fouling the road while the insulators that attach them to the pylon are being replaced.
