SILENE DIOICA

I had hoped to head up the coast to Newburgh and Forvie
to photographs the seal colonies basking in the sun at low tide.
However, after a bright mid day
the muggy air started to create a band of mist off the coast.
I didn't think it was worth venturing far afield
to watch the vista disappear as the haar rolled in
In the end the mist was very tolerant and drifted in and out.
Maybe tomorrow I will go seal spotting
However today it is Red campion
which currently is flowering in profusion along the coastal paths.
