Jasper-the bolter

Today I met Jasper, a gorgeous three year old Springer while out walking.

His owner tells me Jasper likes to go walkabouts ("he's a bolter!") and often takes himself off to the local pub.

Now they know him so well that they simply ring up and ask for him to be collected..

We used to have Springers and it is only a question of time before we succumb and get another. But there is the slight problem of Taz, our cat. I hesitate because I think Taz would not take kindly to a dog in the house.
