Delphinium geyeri

Blue species of Delphinium inhabit the steppes and mountains of the northern hemisphere. The famous hybrids are synonymous with English gardens and maritime climates, their roots however tend to be in dry semiarid climates.

Delphinium geyeri is a western native and really only growable in xeric gardens. Too much water and this "delicate" beauty dies.
