Granny says goodbye

Well the day came today... we had to say goodbye to granny. She needed to go back to my dad, but we had a lovely time together and will never forget it!

Oscar and Bailee were excited to come home to a treat on their beds. Oscar got a new t-shirt and Bailee a Hello Kitty hat. They were very excited and of course wore them all afternoon! Maple got a scooter yesterday for her 2nd birthday... so that was more than enough. She rode it around happily this morning, despite running her own foot over yesterday and being a little scared!

So it is back to normal now (As normal as can be). The twins have a week left at nursery before the summer holidays.

So it is three weeks and one day on now. I am still tired but the blood has finally come off my scar and the bald patches are looking less bald! A friend suggested putting a reference to a blog I read pre-surgery that was very inspirational, reassuring, fascinating and frankly hilarious:
