Good things come in threes

I am still winning the World Cup (everyone else predicted a Spain win as well).

I spent the morning in a workshop in which the entire IT department bent their minds to questions about the University's strategy. And this wasn't a meaningless waste of our time. Oh no. When the Powers That Be come to decide the way forward for Scholarly Networking, they will turn first to the tatty piece of A4 containing the Thoughts of Chairman NickMog and the five worker bees sharing his table. In a couple o years' time, when the concept of Darwinian Development is on everyone's lips ("Agile? Scrum? Do you remember them?"), remember that you heard it here first.

And, finally, during Not a Waste of a Time workshop, I got a text from M to say that he had got his results and he has a First Class MEng from the University of Nottingham. We are two proud parents.
