Evening Concert

Day two. We did almost everything on my ambitious agenda:
1) Went to the British Museum and saw the special Vikings Exhibit with those great audio guides that tell you everything interesting (and then tell you to look at the little computer screen in case you missed it in real life, which is kind of funny)
2) Walked to Hyde Park and rented Barkley bikes to ride around and get to other locations
3) Popped in to the Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert
4) Went to Harrod's to gawk and have tea
5) Rode around, intending to head toward Trafalgar, but made an accidental perfect circle, ending right back at Harrod's
6) Made it to St. Martin's In the Field around 6 and ate in the crypt cafe underneath
7) Heard the Feinstein Ensemble perform some Mozart and Haydn--including Haydn's London Symphony, appropriately.

All that, and incredibly great weather, too. The walk back to our hotel was like a light show with pink streaks of clouds and white contrail against the just darkening sky.
